Monroe Train Accident

A Monroe train accident has resulted in the death of a truck driver.  Alexis Mims of Detroit was killed when he failed to stop at a train crossing on Matlin Road west of Grafton Road in Carleton.

 

This is a very tragic accident and my sympathies are with the family and friends of Alexis Mims.

Alto Train Accident Kills Pedestrian

A Alto train accident killed a Kentwood man who was walking on the tracks.  Although the train conductor saw a man on the tracks, the train did not stop and the man was killed on Harrison Road near 60th Street in Alto.

 

This is a truly senseless loss and my sympathies go out to the family of the deceased.

 

My firm represents injured victims of accidents such as this one.  When someone has been injured or killed because of the negligence of another person, the injured person’s estate or their family has a claim for damages against the negligent party.  Here, the family may have a claim for wrongful death if this man’s death occurred as a result of negligence.
