An Ottawa County motorcycle accident has resulted in injuries for a 24-year old Kent County man.  Samuel Kurtz of Kent County was injured on October 19, 2008 while he was riding his motorcycle on 68^th Avenue in Polkton Township when he attempted to pass the vehicle in front of him.  Unfortunately, this vehicle then made a left turn into the path of his motorcycle.  Samuel Kurtz was thrown from his motorcycle and subsequently transported to Spectrum Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids with hip injuries and possible internal injuries.  He was listed in fair condition on Monday.  The driver of the car and her passenger were not injured.
