The accident took place on Saturday, May 8th around 12 a.m. According to police the 23 year old man was hit while driving his vehicle when a woman drove through a flashing red light at the intersection of Range Road and Gratiot Boulevard. The man was taken to a University of Michigan Health Systems Hospital in Ann Arbor.
