Mecosta County Truck Rollover Accident

There was a story in the news today about a woman injured in a Mecosta County Truck Rollover Accident on Saturday, November 7th in Evart. According to the Mecosta County Sheriff’s office, a pick-up truck driven by a woman, with a female passenger, allegedly lost control of her vehicle and went into a ditch causing both women to be ejected from it. The passenger suffered serious injuries, as did the driver. Both women were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police are still investigating this accident.

I am very sorry to hear about this tragic accident and hope all the injured parties have a complete and full recovery from their serious injuries.

Our Michigan car accident lawyers advise accident victims of their legal rights. For this type of auto accident in Michigan, the injured passenger can submit a claim for Michigan No-Fault insurance benefits. No-Fault benefits will cover her medical expenses, lost wages, attendant care, replacement services, and other benefits related to injuries suffered in the accident. The injured party can claim these benefits even if she did not have a Michigan automobile insurance policy.

In addition, the car accident injury victim may also have claims for personal injuries against any driver determined to be at fault in this auto accident. The insurance company for the negligent driver typically pays a settlement for this type of case. In this lawsuit, the injured victim can claim damages and compensation for the injuries suffered in the accident. At the very least, he should hire the best possible lawyer to look into these possibilities.

An experienced Michigan car accident lawyer can assist the victim with this type of claim. Accident victims should not speak with the insurance adjuster for the negligent driver before consulting with an attorney.

At least one person was injured and taken to a local hospital. Details are still vague as the police are still investigating this accident.

Brain Injury Verdict in Lenawee County

A traumatic brain injury victim in a Michigan car accident recieved justice today in a Lenawee County courtoom.  A  jury returned a verdict in a car accident case in favor of the accident vicitm for approximately $2,000,000.00.  This is a substantial verdict in for Lenawee County where jurors are considered conservative when awarding compensation to injury victims.  The accident victim suffered a closed head injury in the accident.

The negligent driver had insurance company with Farm Bureau Insurance Company.  Incredibly, the insurance adjuster offered only $100,000 before the trial to settle this serious injury case.  Well, the jury clearly saw through the smoke and mirror defense and the adjuster grossly underestimated the magnitude of the case, and the tremendous skill of the lawyer for the accident victim.  There will most likely be significant penalties awarded against the Defendant in this case and the insurance company will be probably be required to foot the bill, as it should.

According to the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office, eight people were hurt in a three vehicle accident when a minivan allegedly turning onto Elizabeth, from Groesbeck, struck another minivan then struck a pickup truck. Hasting Car Accident

I saw a story on the news today about a Hastings Car Accident that seriously injured two people. According to police, a driver and his passenger were traveling to the intersection of Mill and Hanover Streets when the driver allegedly lost control on a curve in the road then hit a power pole and crashed into a stone wall. Both the driver, a 22-year-old Hastings man,  and the passenger, a 20-year-old Hastings woman, were airlifted to a Grand Rapids Hospital. Police are still investigating the accident and believe that alcohol may be involved.

I  am very sorry to hear about this tragic auto accident and wish the injured driver and passenger the fullest and speediest recovery possible.

Our Michigan car accident lawyers advise accident victims their legal rights. For this type of auto accident in Michigan, the injured passenger can submit a claim for Michigan No-Fault insurance benefits.  No-Fault benefits will cover her medical expenses, lost wages, attendant care, replacement services, and other benefits related to injuries suffered in the accident.  The injured woman can claim these benefits even if she did not have a Michigan automobile insurance policy.

Another possible claim for anyone injured by the alleged drunk driver would be a potential Michigan dram shop case against the seller or furnisher of the  alcohol before the accident. At the very least, the injured parties should hire the best possible lawyer to look into these possibilities.

An experienced Michigan car accident lawyer can assist the victims with this type of claim.  Auto accident victims should not speak with the insurance adjuster for the negligent driver before consulting with an attorney.
