Grand Rapids Car Accident Lawyers

A Grand Rapids car accident has sent one person to the hospital.  The accident happened on March 17, 2009 when a person driving on Gavin Lake Avenue NE crashed through the intersection at Belding Road and hit a road sign and a row of trees.  The person was hospitalized with unknown injuries.

I hope this person is not seriously injured.  I want to express my sadness that this accident occurred.  I hope the accident victim is able to have a full recovery from whatever injuries he or she might have suffered.

Whenever someone is injured in a Michigan car accident, that person should file a claim for Michigan No Fault benefits.  These insurance benefits will cover medical expenses as long as they are reasonably related to the accident.  There is no limit on the amount or duration of the medical expenses, which means a person could even collect No Fault benefits for the rest of their lives if the expenses were reasonable and necessary in light of the person’s injuries.

No Fault insurance also covers lost wages, household services, attendant care, and more.  Anyone who has questions about their car accident should contact a Michigan car accident lawyer as soon as they can.

Grand Rapids Car Accident

A woman has been killed in a Grand Rapids car accident.  The accident occurred on February 20, 2009 when the woman lost control of her car and slid across 10 Mile near Shaner Avenue NE and was struck by another vehicle.  It is not certain why the woman lost control of her car.

I am very sorry this accident occurred.  I want to extend my sympathies to this woman’s family for their loss.

When someone is killed in a car accident, the first thing their family should do once they can is submit a claim for Michigan No Fault benefits.  A No Fault survivor loss claim will provide the family with money for part of the funeral costs and will provide them with payments for loss of financial support and loss of household services.  Financial support means money the deceased would earn and use to support their family while household services mean payments for chores around the house which the deceased used to do.

Grand Haven Car Accident

A Grand Haven car accident has resulted in the death of one woman.  Doreen Riddle, 66, died February 9, 2009 after her car struck a snowbank and flipped over near Mercury Drive and 152nd Avenue.  A medical examination has revealed she died of a pre-existing medical condition rather than from injuries sustained in the car accident.

I am very sorry this accident happened.  If Doreen Riddle’s medical condition caused the accident, at least her family can take comfort in the fact that there were no other victims.  My sympathies are with the Riddle family.

The Riddle family should submit a claim for Michigan No Fault benefits.  A No Fault survivor loss claim will pay for a portion of the funeral and loss of household services.  If Doreen Riddle had been working or seeking work at the time of her accident, survivor loss benefits would also include loss of financial support.

Bloomfield Township Car Accident

A Bloomfield Township car accident has caused a man to die.  The accident occurred on January 24, 2009 on Telegraph near Square Lake Road when a 75-year old driver of a Jeep rear-ended a 27-year old Ann Arbor resident who was stopped at a traffic light.  The Jeep then crossed into other lanes on Telegraph before coming to a stop.  The driver of the Jeep was taken to Saint Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, where he was pronounced dead.

I am very sorry this accident occurred.   I want to express my sympathies to this man’s family.  The article did not indicate whether the Ann Arbor resident was hurt, and I hope that he or she was not.

In an accident like this, the man’s family should submit a claim for No Fault insurance benefits.  A No Fault survivor loss claim will provide them with a payment for a portion of the funeral costs and possibly payments for loss of financial support and loss of household services, depending on if the deceased earned income or helped with any chores around the house.  If the Ann Arbor resident was injured, he or she should also submit a claim for No Fault benefits, which will pay for all medical expenses and other benefits.

Allegan County Car Accident

An Allegan County car accident has claimed the life of a Holland teenager.  Jeremy James Plachta, 18, died when his vehicle ran off the road and hit a tree on December 27, 2008.  The accident happened on 66th Street near 144th Avenue in Laketown Township.  The accident is believed to have been caused by foggy weather conditions.

This is a very tragic accident, especially because Jeremy Plachta is so young.  I want to extend my sympathies to his family and friends.

In an accident like this, the victim’s family should file a claim for Michigan No Fault insurance benefits.  No Fault survivor loss benefits will provide Jeremy Plachta’s family with a portion of the funeral cost and this claim may also include payments for loss of financial support and for loss of household services, if Jeremy worked or did chores around the house.  Survivor loss benefits are available regardless of fault, which means they can be collected even though no other car was involved in this accident.
