Destefanis was taken to a local hospital where he is in critical condition. I heard a tragic story on the radio today about a Fatal Hit & Run Accident in Monroe County yesterday. According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, Diane Norris was allegedly hit and killed as she walked along North Dixie Highway in Frenchtown Township. The police investigation found enough evidence that the vehicle that hit Ms. Norris was a Pontiac Grand Am. I read a tragic story in the paper today about a fatal Mackinac County Hit & Run Pedestrian Accident in the Upper Peninsula yesterday. According to police, two people were killed and several more were seriously injured when they were walking along South Gould Road in Newton Township and were allegedly plowed into by a SUV or pick-up truck that crossed the center line of the road. The driver left the scene of the accident but was later found by the State Police.  He was arrested and charged with several felonies including second degree murder. Police continue to investigate the accident.

Oakland County Hit and Run Fatalities

I read a tragic story in the news over the weekend about Oakland County Hit and Run Fatalities in Novi on Saturday. According to Michigan State Police, a pick-up truck travelling on M-5, near 13 Mile Road, allegedly rear-ended a car causing it to burst into flames,, killing the two occupants. The pick-up truck driver fled on foot from the crash scene.

Royal Oak Multiple Hit & Run Accidents Fatality

There was a tragic story in the news today about Royal Oak Multiple Hit & Run Accidents Fatality. A drunk driver, in a Chevy Silverado, was allegedly involved in two hit and run accidents in matter of 10 minutes, according to Michigan State Police. The first hit and run accident allegedly occurred at a McDonald’s on 11 Mile Road near Van Dyke that left several people seriously injured.

State Police said the drunk driver then allegedly rammed into a Ford Aerostar minivan on the Woodward exit ramp of I-696 causing the minivan to roll, 10 minutes later. One of the passengers was killed when the minivan rolled. The driver and other passengers of the minivan were taken to Beaumont Hospital with serious injuries. The drunk driver fled the scene of the accident but was apprehended later when he returned to the scene. Police are still investigating this accident.
