There was a story in the paper recently about a Tuscola County car accident. The car accident took place on Sunday, May 30th, around 2 p.m. According to the sheriff’s department, a 20 year old male was driving west on M-25 near Vassar Road when he struck another vehicle going eastbound. The vehicle going easbound was driven by a woman from Kawkawlin. In the car with the woman were three of her family members. Everyone involved in the car accident suffered injuries and was transported to the hospital. Alcohol is considered to be a factor.

Kalamazoo Drunk Driving Accident Takes Place At Dangerous Intersection

There was a story in the paper recently about a Kalamazoo drunk driving accident that involved four cars. The drunk driving accidenttook place on Sunday, May 16th shortly after 5 P.M.  According to Kalamazoo County Deputies the drunk driver did not brake behind traffic stopped at a red light at the intersection of Gull and Sprinkle. The drunk drivers’ car struck the rear end of one car causing that car to strike into two other vehicles. This is the second accident that has recently taken place at this intersection in Kalamazoo, and has injured or sent individuals to the hospital.

On April 28, 2010 at the Radisson Hotel in Livonia, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Southeast Michigan chapter, held an award ceremony to honor all law enforcement officers from Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties for their arrests in drunk driving offenses. MADD is dedicated to eliminating drunk driving on our roads and highways. Our Michigan drunk driving accident lawyers were a proud Champion Sponsor of the event.

Many officers from Oakland, Macomb, and Wayne counties along with MADD members, survivors, and individuals who have lost a family member or friend due to a Michigan drunk driving accident attended. Hosting the ceremony was Fox 2 News anchor, Ron Savage. With over 200 people attending and Fox 2 news coverage, the Life Saver Awards ceremony turned out to be a success and showed the impact of how much our law enforcement is going beyond the call of duty to do all they can to take impaired drivers off the roadways.
