I saw a story on the news today about a Hastings Car Accident that seriously injured two people. According to police, a driver and his passenger were traveling to the intersection of Mill and Hanover Streets when the driver allegedly lost control on a curve in the road then hit a power pole and crashed into a stone wall. Both the driver, a 22-year-old Hastings man,  and the passenger, a 20-year-old Hastings woman, were airlifted to a Grand Rapids Hospital. Police are still investigating the accident and believe that alcohol may be involved.

One of the passengers was killed when the minivan rolled. The driver and other passengers of the minivan were taken to Beaumont Hospital with serious injuries. The drunk driver fled the scene of the accident but was apprehended later when he returned to the scene. Police are still investigating this accident.

Over the weekend, I read the story of a tragic accident involving a Lake Isabella SUV Rollover Accident Death. According to the Sherman Township Sheriff, a 41-year-old Isabella County Man died on July 11th when his SUV rolled several times. The man was allegedly driving at a high rate of speed on North School Road and could not negotiate a curve in the road.

The man was thrown from his vehicle when it rolled. He was pronounced dead at Central Michigan Community Hospital. The Sheriff believes alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.

I  am very sorry to hear about this tragic accident. My heart goes out to the family of the man for their loss from this tragedy.

The occupants of the Yukon, Lee Tenney and two of his family,  were taken to Memorial Hospital for treatment of their undisclosed, non-life threatening injuries. The Hart man died at the scene of the accident. Police suspect alcohol was a factor in the crash and are still investigating at this time.
