Michigan Brain Injury Program Receives Grant
The Southeastern Michigan Traumatic Brain Injury System was awarded a grant for $1.7 million from the U.S. Department of Education’s National Institute of Disability and Rehabilitation Research. The program is affiliated with the DMC Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan and offers care to people with brain injuries.
This grant is a great boost for traumatic brain injury and closed head injury patients in Michigan. My personal injury law firm handles a significant number of brain injury cases, most of which arise from car accidents, motorcycle accidents, fall injuries, and other types of trauma. Our clients who treat with the best clinics show substantial improvement and have the best prognosis, even if they do not achieve full recovery.
