An Almont rollover car accident has resulted in the death of a St. Clair County man. The accident occurred on December 5, 2008 off Dryden Road when Orlando Lomo, 65, of Allenton was trapped underneath his car, which had veered off the road and rolled over into a cornfield. Orlando Lomo was airlifted to Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, but died from his injuries. Police believe speed and alcohol may have contributed to the accident.
I want to extend my sympathies to the Lomo family and to all those who will miss Orlando Lomo.
Orlando Lomo’s family should submit a claim for Michigan No Fault insurance. Specifically, they are entitled to survivor loss damages. A No Fault survivor loss claim will provide some assistance to the family as they cope with Orlando Lomo’s death. Survivor loss benefits will pay a portion of the funeral bill and will provide payments for loss of household services and loss of financial support.
