Allendale Truck Accident

An Allendale truck accident has resulted in severe injuries for one woman.  Rana Rimbey, 33, of Fenville was a front seat passenger in a truck when her door was opened.  She fell out of the truck and the rear wheels ran over her.  The driver stopped the truck, put her back in the vehicle, and rushed her to the hospital.  The accident occurred on November 16, 2008 on Buchanan Street near 92nd Avenue.  The accident is still under investigation.

This sounds like an extremely brutal accident.  Although the nature of this woman’s injuries are not disclosed, they are likely very serious.  I hope that she is able to recover completely.

Rana Rimbey should submit a claim for Michigan No Fault insurance.  No Fault insurance will pay all of her medical expenses, including hospital bills and follow-up treatment.  If she requires medical equipment, like a wheelchair or brace, this will be included as part of her medical expenses as well.  Other No Fault benefits such as wage loss, attendant care, and household replacement services are also available.  In addition, if the accident happened because of some negligence on the part of her driver, she may be able to sue the driver depending on the severity of her injuries.

Allendale Car Accident | Grand Rapids Car Accident Lawyers

An Allendale car accident has injured the driver but no one else.  The accident happened near Allendale Middle School when Mark Wadlington lost control of his vehicle on November 12, 2008.  The car jumped a curb, hit a sign, and criss-crossed busy Lake Michigan Drive near 65th Avenue before coming to a stop in front of the school.  The car damaged five other vehicles in the school’s parking lot but thankfully no one else was injured.  It is unclear what caused the accident.

I am very sorry this accident happened.  I hope the injured driver is able to recover fully from his injuries.

Even though it is not clear what caused the accident, this man can still apply for Michigan No Fault insurance benefits.  No Fault insurance will cover the cost of his medical expenses and will pay his lost wages if he has to miss work.  In addition, No Fault insurance will pay for attendant care and household replacement services if they are necessary as well as other benefits.  These benefits are available regardless of fault and so it will not matter if it is ultimately determined that this driver was responsible for the accident.  Even if he is, he will still be able to receive Michigan No Fault benefits.

Grand Haven Township Car Accident

A Grand Haven Township car accident occurred on November 8, 2008 when Andrew Visser of Allendale was driving on Winding Creek Road near Magnolia and crashed his vehicle into a tree.  He suffered minor injuries.

I was sorry to read about this accident.  I hope that Andrew Visser’s injuries are in fact minor and that he has a full recovery.

Michigan No Fault insurance benefits are available to cover Andrew Visser’s medical expenses.  No Fault benefits will also pay a portion of his lost wages if he needs to miss work and for other benefits depending on the severity of his injuries.  Significantly, there is no limit as to time or amount of the medical expenses No Fault insurance will pay.  That means if an injury does not heal or requires prolonged treatment, No Fault insurance should still pay for it.  The only limitation is that the medical expense must be reasonable and necessary treatment for an injury caused by the car accident.
