Northern Michigan Car Accident Lawyers
A Northern Michigan car accident has resulted in the death of an Arcadia man. Palmerino Farina, 78, died on March 26, 2009 following a March 24 car accident on Northwood Highway in Arcadia Township. The accident happened when Palmerino Farina lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a turn and hit some trees. No one else was in the vehicle.
I am very sorry for the Farina family’s loss. I want to express my sincere sympathies.
Many times, the people I meet think that they have no rights when they are in a single-vehicle car accident. This is not true at all. In fact, an insured driver can submit a claim to his Michigan No Fault car insurance. When someone is killed in a car accident, that claim is a No Fault survivor loss claim.
A claim for survivor loss benefits includes a payment for a portion of the funeral costs. The claim might also include benefits for financial support, if the accident victim was working, and for household services, if the victim did chores around the house.
