Kalamazoo County Car Accident
A fatal Kalamazoo County car accident has resulted in the death of one driver and left two others hospitalized. Lucretia Meeth of Portage was driving on VW Avenue when she crossed the center line and crashed into on-coming traffic. She was pronounced dead a short time later. All four people in the other car were injured, and two were in critical condition.
I am very sorry this accident occurred. I want to express my sympathies to the family of Lucretia Meeth. I also hope the four other people are able to recover fully from their injuries.
The Meeth family should submit a claim for No Fault survivor loss benefits. A survivor loss claim will give them money to pay for the funeral and will provide payments for loss of financial support and loss of household services.
The four other people who were hurt in this accident should also submit a claim for Michigan No Fault Insurance benefits. No Fault insurance will cover their lost wages for a period of up to three years after the accident. No Fault benefits also cover other expenses such as medical expenses.
The two people who are very critical injured may be able to file a lawsuit against Lucretia Meeth’s estate.
