Detroit Car Accident Lawyers

A Detroit car accident has left a 9-year old girl in critical condition.  This accident occurred on March 4, 2009 when a car thief ran a stop sign at Redmond and Novara and crashed into her family’s car.  The girl’s 16-year old sister and her mother were also injured.  The thief stole the car from the driveway of a nearby home.

I am very sorry this accident occurred, and I hope everyone in the family is able to pull through.  I also hope the car thief is caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Although car accidents are always bad, an accident like this where the whole family is hurt is just terrible.  Fortunately, the family can submit a claim for Michigan No Fault benefits and get all their medical bills paid for.  This will help them deal with what would otherwise be huge medical bills.

In addition, if an accident victim is seriously injured, they can sue the other driver or if that driver cannot be identified, they can file a claim for uninsured motorist insurance.  Uninsured motorist coverage is optional coverage and not required by law.  A Michigan car accident lawyer could help review your insurance coverage and determine if you can file a lawsuit.
