Michigan State Police Trooper Causes Car Accident Due To Drunk Driving
Our Michigan car accident lawyers are reporting a Thomas Township drunk driving accidenton Orr and Gratiot Roads. According to police, an off-duty Michigan State Police trooper was driving a pick-up truck south on Orr Road when he ran a stop sign striking a vehicle going westbound on Gratiot Road. There were four people in the other vehicle, two adults and two children. One of the adults sustained a broken wrist, and one of the children suffered from internal bleeding. Police also say that the trooper had a blood alcohol lever of 0.17.
I am very sorry to hear about this accident. I hope that the injured victims have a fast recovery without any permanent damages.
