Car Deer Accident | Muskegon County Car Accident Lawyers
A Fruitport Township car accident occurred when a 37-year old Muskegon man hit a deer with his car on I-96 near Fruitport Avenue on November 10, 2008. After hitting the deer, the car spun out of control and hit a tree. The driver was transported to Hackley Hospital where he is in critical condition.
I am very sorry this accident occurred. This is the time of year when drivers are most at risk for hitting deer, and I urge all drivers to be careful.
Even though this accident involved a deer and not another car, this man can still collect Michigan No Fault benefits. No Fault insurance will cover all of his medical expenses and a portion of his wages if he has to miss work. No Fault insurance will also provide additional benefits such as attendant care, household replacement services, and medical transportation benefits if they are necessary. Depending on the severity of his injuries, this man’s No Fault claim could actually be very complicated. He or his family should review it with a lawyer before they submit it to make sure they are claiming every benefit they can.
