Battle Creek Drunk Driving Accident Leaves Passenger Injured

Our Michigan car accident lawyer is reporting a Battle Creek drunk driving accident that took place on Waubascon Road near Jones Road and injured Daniel Burbank, a passenger in the vehicle.  According to police, the driver of the vehicle was intoxicated while driving and hit a tree after sliding off the road.

Armada Township Car Accident Kills One Teenager And Injures Two

Our Michigan auto accident lawyer reports a tragic story in the paper about an Armada Township car accident that killed one teenager and left two others injured.  The accident took place on Tuesday, December 28th at 32 Mile Road and Romeo Plank.  According to police, a vehicle ran a red light and hit the passenger side of another vehicle crossing the intersection. The vehicle that red the ran light held five teenagers, in which two suffered injuries and were taken to the hospital. The vehicle that was hit, held a passenger, and that passenger died due to the injuries suffered in the car accident.

Distracted Driving Law Takes Effect In Troy, Michigan

Our Michigan car accident attorney advise drivers that the Troy Police Department has begun enforcing the city’s new driving while distracted ordinance.  The law that went into effect on Saturday, January 1st, bans behaviors such as texting, eating, playing with pets, talking on a cell phone, applying make up, etc. while driving a vehicle.  Although receiving a ticket for performing distracted driving does not carry any points, a person can be fined from $75 to as high as $200. The mission solely being safe driving. In fact, since November 2009, distracted driving has been the direct causes of traffic accidents in the City of Troy.
